A single voice breaks the silence of the night
Something is wrong , somethings not right
Are we all mad? Have we all gone insane?
There's a world full of indifference...ignoring the pain
Turning their heads, pretending they don't know
Lives are torn apart, hearts are full of woe
Oh..you can close your eyes, but it won't disappear
You can stop your ears and try not to hear
The cries of the children with nothing to eat
With no clothes on their backs , and no shoes on their feet
Survivors of war with nothing left but their tears
The victims of QABIIL, power seekers
The homeless, the helpless the lost and alone
the abused , and the addict, the child on his own
The ones out of work, the ones out of luck
The ones who are injured, trying to make a buck
So many people, hurting everywhere
Hoping you will help them, hoping you will care
But just go on about your bussiness and don't worry about the others
It's all about you, to hell with your brothers
You've a living to make and a family to keep
I wonder how you do it, I wonder how you sleep
I know you can't save them all, it just can't be done
But you can make a difference by helping just one
If we all do that, if we all take a stand
