First Week in College

Well, this week was the start of Different world, the classes started on monday, i didnt attend the first class because i had to get my visa before it expires. on tuesday i attended my first class and it was nice experience for me to study with chinese students, it was fun and i was welcomed very warmly, thanks to everyone. the teacher told me to introduce myself but i was kinda nervous and everyone was looking at me trying to hear what this 老外has to say. hahaha...i spoke english to introduce myself, some student were like 听不懂 so i have to use 中文 again.....
i was surprised about my class which have only 5 boys including me, and 30 girls. lol! thats not fair, its good to study with girls but the ratio should atleast be equal. i have never imagined that i will studying maths in chinese language, and even in High school i was not good in maths.

First it was Fashion Design, I thought then i should try different professional that i will enjoy more than designing, i know maybe it sounds (what?). So, I quickly moved on to Philosophy and Psychology, but I still wasn’t satisfied. I dabbled in Screenwriting, committed to Film, and finally threw in Journalism on top of everything at the last minute.
Well, after the first week of college; I wish we had college, without the classes. My classes seem "fun" but as always, it seems more fun when people talk about it than it actually is.
Questions are many.
Scenes are scattered.
Characters are developing.
Chapters are ... well, that's getting a little ahead of myself.
Committing to a college major is hard, but committing to something you’re going to do for the rest of your life is just plain painful. It’s an ungodly amount of pressure. That is, unless you know that it’s the only thing you can do—the only thing that will make you happy and make you feel fulfilled.

I chose to combine different majors to create something unique for my field. I had already declared my major as Film, but I knew that I wanted to be writer as well. This is when I took up Journalism—something that my parents were in support of because they viewed it as being more “practical.” However, for me it meant that I had a focus when I entered the entertainment journalism industry. That perhaps one day I could review films like I always wanted to do. By combining majors, not only was I prepared for each field directly, but it also gave me more opportunities on the whole
It only makes sense that when you’re trying to create a future for yourself that you keep yourself in mind throughout the process. Never pin yourself down to something that someone else wants you to do—it is your life—so leave opportunities open. "The world is changing, there are new jobs being created, there are old jobs disappearing and there are new opportunities occurring," says John Krumboltz, so take advantage of them!
Busy, busy week I've had
