CIIDUL ADHA

What a beautiful morning here in shanghai, sunny but still chilly. i can say i had the best EID celebration for three years, Friends + feast and Fun. we celebrated the eid on Tuesday morning, one day before the locals bcoz in china they celebrate one day behind the rest of the Muslim world maybe bcoz of time anyway dont know much about it. before the Eid each one of us contributed certain amount of money for the celebration, and we agreed everything and wrote it down in paper. one of my Egyptian friend came up with idea and we really appreciated that bcoz we could have any celebration. This was how planned

On Sunday- super market, Buy everything that we needed accept the meat.
Monday - Prepare the utensils/kitchen and order the lamb
Tuesday- Buy the Lamb, start cooking by midday and Eat in The evening.

my part was to assist the cooking team and provide them in case they need anything so i was going back and Forth the whole day. First we thought only four of us could finish the cooking but it turned out that we couldnt finish on time time unless the others guys give us help. around four in the afternoon help arrived and we felt sort of relief bcoz it was not easy just four of us cooking for 15 people . i felt so tired and felt so much pain in my back, preparing the steak and Frying the meat was so much energy.

Our chief chef(amin)
was yelling to us after every second reminding us not leave the food unattended and i think we needed that.
around 6.30PM the Food was ready and it has to be transported to a coffee shop inside the campus which we reserved earlier, tables set and The mood was refreshing every second. one thing that went wrong was, the food was little cold bcoz we prepared the food before everyone arrived so again we had to heat the steaks again which made it little bit tasteless . anyway it so delicious especially like moment when you eat what you cooked and everyone appreciates
........later in the we went to play Billiard just outside the campus and enjoy ourselves...chat drink(Arabic) coffee and be part of the team..... i felt so excited and it reminded of home where the mood is awesome and happiness.
