SUMMER TUNE

6 days till HSK(Final Chinese language) exam, 2O Days Till my journey and 56 days to a BRAND NEW PACK!!!




Its late Sunday afternoon and I've been feeling really sluggish today. My brain doesn't seem to be working right. I tried eating something to see if it was just because I was hungry but that didn't work. I tried to exercise and get the blood flowing and that didn't work either. What's next? A nap maybe. Noooo! I can't sleep during the day. Plus I got studying to do!

My book has that "new book smell" and it's making me sick. Those damn glossy pages! Every time I open the book I get all weirded out from the smell. It's odd, I know. I think the pictures creep me out a little too. Very creative pictures, but also kinda creepy. The last thing I wanna see is Till in a skin-tight leotard thing laying in a pile of mannequins. No, for real... I don't wanna see that. -_-

I am so ready for the semester to be over. I really have enjoyed most of my classes, No I hate Reading class, man. I just don't recognize most of the Hanzi on the book. I know what an indirect object is (by definition) but I couldn't point to it in a sentence if my life depended on it. I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm not gonna learn this stuff overnight. It takes patience and practice. I'll just keep my eyes on my main goal and I'll be okay. *deep breath*


Ok so Hsk exam is in a few days and Im really worried not doing much! I'm enjoying nights with my friend's family. I love his family and seem to like me too! I LOVE the holidays. I love spending time with good friends and famliy, joking about and goofing off. No work, no school, just good times. O and the food I LOVE THE FOOD. I love Turkey and yams and mashed potatos and stuffing and all the works. I hope this year is a good year. The last few Holidays have not been what I hoped for with the family so Im just going to stay with friends this year.
After Exam many people I know are going to work on that lovely day called Black Friday... Im lucky enough to enjoy the day to walk around malls and watch as the world goes crazy! Trying to buy all the things for my Holiday in ONE day... I love to people watch. I too will be shopping a little, trying to fine a better deal on some expensive gifts.
